Classic Steel Heat Shield CUSTOM FIT to fit the Mossberg 590 Shockwave 12 Gauge Heavy Barrel Made In the USA in Connecticut 
 
Custom Heat Shield to fit 12 Gauge Mossberg SHOCKWAVE Heavy Barrel Shotguns + DEFENDER Tactical 'Highball' Front bead sight.
 
This new partnership with Defender Tactical allows the use of their GIANT 'Highball' Front bead sight.  3X the size of the original Mossberg sight.  Removes with needle nosed pliers and DOUBLES the visibility and allows for the bead to 'peep' ABOVE the heat shield for optimal target acquisition (SEE PHOTO FOR REFERENCE).
 
This kit contains "HighBall", our Oversized Front Bead Sight which is not only easier to see, but the extended height helps correct high-shooting that is caused by the short factory front bead.  HighBall is machined from solid Marine Brass and is passivated for increased corrosion resistance. 
 
This is a custom 'Rough Mod' part from our laboratory.  We have retrofitted a standard heat shield to fit the GIRTHIER Mossberg Shockwave 590A1 Heavy-barrels.  The ORIGINAL Shockwave Shield is the HARDEST gun-part in the world to find.....so we made our own. The shield does not use the standard plastic shim between the cross-bolts, so there may be some slight rubbing in the area, but the lock-up is rock-solid. We warranty everything we make FOR LIFE!
 
Made in the USA (All components Included) Heat shield is made from black high-quality tenstile steel and includes all necessary hardware and tools. STOP BURNING YOURSELF DURING RELOADS!!!

WILL NOT FIT Vented Bird-barrels.
 
-May slightly block the finger screw used to remove barrel (narrows the space, so removing the shield or strong fingers allow for barrel removal)
 
-Barrel must be clear and smooth from the receiver 13 3/4" down the barrel (No mid-length sights).
 
-May need to bend shield to hug the barrel tighter to accomodate Magp*l forends (See youtube for mods.)
 
 
-Shield is 13.75" In overall Length.
